A former federal lawmaker senator Shehu Sani, called out the federal government following the fight against banditry in the northern part of Nigeria.
The ex-senator representing Kaduna central said that those who can’t protect their land should not interrupt the people that decide to.
In a tweet on Monday, February 8, the outspoken former lawmaker and critic stated that bandits have ravaged and pillaged most parts of the rural northwest.
He went on to accuse Fulani herdsmen of moving on motorcycles to raze villages and kill with impunity.
“Bandits have ravaged and pillaged most parts of the rural north west. They move on motorcycles, raze villages, kill and rape with impunity. It takes some days to find some of the corpses of their victims. If you can’t protect your land don’t interrupt those who decides to”. He said
